Thanks to the wonderful world of the world wide web, we have seen some shit that otherwise would not have been able to in our everyday lives. One of the hundreds of things that has gained my attention are “Computer Case Mods’ or ‘Case Modding’. Its basically customizing your desktop computer case to whatever you can imagine and create. From Batmobiles to alien spaceships, I’ve seen some pretty hectic stuff ranging from themes to characters.
But this guy has made the best one yet!!! This WALL-E case mod has been built from scratch. And when I say ‘scratched’ I mean built from the very beginning with sheets of metal – machined to precision scale!!! You have to see the pictures to believe it. The tracks look real, the eyes have proper lenses and its even painted to look like its been in a wasteland for years and years. Lotsa work, lotsa time and very very geeky.
The end result is a scale to size WALL-E that houses your computer, complete with working LED’s, disc drive and all the basic external ports on the back, along with the power plug outlet.
