When I see cool ideas and stuff in general, I automatically assume that the person/s behind it would be from the western world or Japan. Growing up in Malaysia in the 80’s and early 90’s, we as kids were mainly influenced by (American) television and fashion magazines. For a long time I always thought that first world nations looked and lived like that and that all good things come from there.
The older I get, the more open I have become to the world. And I have realised that I don’t have to look halfway across the world for creative people who are making an impact on society.
Take for example this stencil artist from Singapore. The idea so awesome and effective, yet so simple it makes you think “Now why didn’t I think of that?!”.
